Beginners can start with Arabic letters and joined words, while developing readers can study Tajweed, practise recitation and explore Quran translations. Families may also use the daily Duas, Six Kalimas, Salah, Wudu and Islamic manners lessons for regular learning at home.
New learners should begin with the Noorani Qaida lessons. Study the Arabic alphabet, letter shapes, joining rules, short vowels, Sukoon, Shaddah, Tanween and Madd in a gradual order. Do not rush through a lesson simply to finish it. Correct recognition and pronunciation provide the foundation needed for confident Quran reading.
Readers who recognise Arabic words can continue with the Tajweed Learning Center. Its lessons explain important subjects including Makharij, Madd, Noon Saakin and Tanween, Meem Saakin, Ghunnah and Qalqalah. Read each explanation carefully, listen to accurate recitation where possible and practise a small number of examples until the rule becomes familiar.
Use the Quran Reader for regular reading and revision. Learners may also explore the Urdu translation or English translation to study the meanings. A translation helps readers understand the general message, but detailed interpretation and religious rulings should be studied with reliable scholarship and qualified guidance.
The Islamic Learning Resources include authentic daily Duas, the Six Kalimas, a step-by-step prayer guide, Wudu instructions and lessons about Islamic manners. These resources can support personal study, family revision and supervised learning for children. Each lesson should be understood and practised rather than treated only as text to memorise.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5027 reports the virtue of learning the Quran and teaching it. Sahih Muslim 798a also gives encouragement to both proficient reciters and learners who find recitation difficult. Progress may be gradual, so focus on sincere effort, correct practice and consistent revision instead of comparing your speed with another learner.
These free resources support independent revision, but they do not replace direct correction. Personal guidance can be especially valuable for Makharij, Tajweed, Quran recitation and practical worship.
